I sat last night and watched the video from the street camera of the attack on the AfD Party boss from Bremen (Frank Magnitz). If you goggle it up on YouTube, just use 'Bremen attack' and it'll pop up. Two issues. First, it's in black and white. Second, it's from a fair distance (maybe 20 meters).
This attack on Magnitz? It's gotten a lot of traction in the news media and forced various parties to say attacking people isn't something they condone (even for AfD political folks).
The cops in this case, immediately went to a robbery-trigger story, with the three 'thugs'. Well.....no, after you watch the video, that won't work.
So what happens in this video? Frank has left some event and just walking on the streets of Bremen....back home. Behind Frank (maybe 60 feet) are two guys (I would suggest young, not guys over forty). Behind the two guys.....there's a third apparently connected to them, but he's about forty feet behind.
There are two cams. So the first cam shot is showing them stepping up the pace....pulling their hoodies down, and then speeding up. Then comes cam shot two (leading away) and the first two are up with Frank.....where the one guy trips Frank up and pushes to the ground. Guy number two? Nothing, he's just keeping pace and moving on. Guy number three? He is walking fast and trying to keep up with the two buddies.
Yes, A trip and a push, and it's over. No stomping. No hitting. A lot of this damage on Frank is simply by the cobblestones.
My interpretation? I think it's purely random, and this was some moment conceived by guy number one. I don't think the other two had any intention of getting into this. Maybe guy number one knew who Frank was, Maybe he didn't.
