Ali B Court Case Closed

Around a year ago, we had the murder of a Mainz teenage girl, and the eventually came upon the culprit.  I've essayed the piece a good bit so I won't go over the early details.

Ali B?  An Iraqi young guy asylum-seeker, who can best be described as failing miserably in integration, and heavily into alcohol/drugs.

The case wrapped up today with the sentence....here in Wiesbaden.  The five chief points?

1.  The judge applied maximum full authority....meaning no early release, and he's set to be in prison for the rest of his life.

2.  Ali B simply refused show some type of remorse at this point in the case....blaming those who got him into alcohol, and the German system for failing to integrate him into the German lifestyle.

3.  A 50k fine was assessed upon Ali B (I doubt if he'll ever be able to pay it).....going to the mother/sister of the victim.

4.  The mother of the dead teen still has frustration with the half-hearted search by the cops for the daughter.  The cops had some information that the kid was skipping classes, and I have doubts that the mother realized that angle of the story.

5.  A key point to the defense of Ali....at least by journalistic chatter....is that he simply never got socialized.

Finished?  More or less.  I expect someone to eventually write the book and tell the complete story.  It would make a five-star movie.
