Polling

 ZDF (Channel Two, public TV) does this poll episodes ('Politbarometer Show').  I generally regard them as fairly accurate and reflective of society.

So the newest one....focuses on two issues.

1.  How does the public feel about the political slants going on?

Well....both the CDU-CSU (now right-of-center) and SPD (left-of-center) are noted by the public to be at the same level (25-percent of the public finds support for each).  

It's not helpful for the SPD, but it's not terrible.

2.  On leadership qualities for Chancellor Scholz?

Well....that's not exactly great.  Only 56-percent of the public is supportive.  It's pretty high among SPD/Greens.  Much less so with the conservative parties.
