There's talk going around Bundestag and hyped to a small degree via the news media of a 'fund' that will be created to help regular Germans during the increasing cost for heat.
How much? It's not clear....most people are talking about a 200-Euro per household, but there's some talk it'd depend on the number of people in the home.
Would it just come to you as a check? Well....that's a discussion as well....they want to avoid handing you the cash.
What's it to be called? Amusingly enough.....a C02 'bonus'.
Is this 200 Euro enough? Maybe for a smaller 40 to 60 square meter place....yeah.
All of this begs the question....what happens for the 2nd half of 2022, for gas, natural gas and electricity?
Last night, I watched a German show that talked over grocery prices....comparing 2012 to 2022. That was rather shocking to view the 10-year trend, and just makes me wonder about 2032.
