This happened over the weekend in Germany, in Weiden (about five miles east of Grafenwohr....in Bavaria, for you former Army guys).
Restaurant operation....almost midnight....eight customers have ordered up a bottle of Champaign. Five men, three women.
What came out of the bottle into the glasses was a high concentration of the drug Ecstasy.
One guy dead, everyone else laying on the floor (ages 33 to 52).
Cops investigating and it's anyone's guess where this will lead onto.
No one is accusing any of the eight and it's possible that the bottle was uncorked days or weeks ago....then re-corked. Odd crime.
