1. Reported late yesterday (Sat).....stabbing incident in Penne area (Lower Saxony). Four folks (3 guys: 18, 66, 73 and one gal: 48) got stabbed by a 32 year old guy. What the police say....all five knew each other. The four are in bad shape but surviving. Motive? None given so far, and they all appear to be Germans.
2. The mayor of Krefeld.....(located in far north of Germany)....Frank Meyer (SPD) has issued a call that 'dangerous' refugees (I assume qualified by the police)...should NOT be cared for by cities, and the handling of such people would go to state control.
This leads back to early October and the refugee who was setting fires in the local area.
I suspect none of the sixteen state mechanisms in Germany want to engage in talking about this problem or how they'd each handle 'control'.
What this would lead to? I would imagine....there would be a court creation...where your bad-boy behavior got you to a control situation....probably a ankle-monitor...maybe a full-year in some control situation with anger-management-related classes....maybe some drug-control and some classes.
I would offer this observation....what you generally have is 95-percent of refugees who are mostly a non-threat...and the remaining folks fit into a couple of categories....some deserving of a 'bad-boy' status.
3. New 'boss' of the Youth Green Party organization....spoke up yesterday....compromises are dissolving the effective nature of the coalition gov't.
General issue....SPD, FDP, and Greens aren't all reading off the same script in terms of 'promises'.
4. Linke Party having their big meeting....leadership suggesting ending of billionaire-class in Germany (simply take their money).
5. Polling...if there were an election today?
SPD: 16 percent
Union: 31 percent
Greens: 10 percent,
FDP: 4 percent
AfD: 19 percent
BSW: 9 percent
Linke: 3 percent
Observation: If you add FDP, Greens, and SPD.....they can't beat the CDU. Linke Party is also out of the Bundestag in the next election, with the FDP very close to being out.
6. German gov't issued a comment....they are very worried over North Korean soldiers entering the Ukraine-Russia war business. They've sent a letter to North Korea urging them to reconsider.
Lot of propaganda by Ukraine and Russia over this? Yeah. One video I noted....a supposed North Korean being held in Ukraine....oddly speaking Ukraine language. I suspect he's a university student who was in Ukraine to start with.
Another video featured some arrival of North Koreans near the front and being issued Russian uniforms. The dialog suggested they were entering a training period. Course in Russia....this might mean a 7-day war-prep course and being issued a rifle.
The problem I see....99-percent of the North Koreans ONLY speak Korean. How the Russian commanders will communicate back and forth....will be a question mark.
