I was at a German grocery last night....walking through the drink/booze section, and here was an entire rack (6 shelves, meter-wide)....of non-alcoholic booze.
You know....the zero-percent gin/whiskey/rum.
The thing that got me....most of the bottles (figure at least 25 types in view) are priced from 4-Euro on up to 14-Euro.
You end up with liquid that tastes like gin....but zero-percent alcohol.
A new trend?
I saw this take-off in the middle of Covid.
Older Germans into this? No. If you see anyone buying it...it's mostly people in their 20s.
