1. Last Sunday, a dead German woman was found in the Neckar near Nürtingen...about an hour south of Stuttgart. The woman was later identified....66-year old German-teacher....with refugees. Some facts fell into play....search was conducted, and yesterday....German police arrested a 37-year old Iranian guy.
So far, he hasn't much of anything. Motivation? None offered by him or the police. The only thing offered was that the instructor did know the Iranian.
2. Weather guys chat. Supposed to be a period for about a week, where it's warmer than usual (like yesterday for me....it was t-shirt weather). But after that week....it's supposed to be a serious drop in temperature (below the norm).
3. WELT front-page.....German sick-leave notes....for 2024....going to be a all-time level for entire country.
4. The youth element of the CDU/CSU (right-of-center) held a meeting yesterday....pushing the agenda....coalition-building with the Green Party presently, makes no sense.
5. The story I brought up yesterday....the woman killed by police in Schwalmstadt ....well....it has a twist now.
Cops say the gun held by the woman toward them....was a blank-gun. She had been detained earlier in the morning by them....for drunk driving.
6. Not that it means anything much....but as this North Korean soldiers business starts up at the front in Ukraine (fighting for Russia)....intercepts of cellphone traffic by the Ukrainians....indicate that the Russian soldiers question how this will effectively work.
Yeah, Russians need a communications method, and some suggestion is evolving that no one really thought much about this.
I would imagine some Russians (a very small number) can speak in Korean, and they are being given orders to report to the front as well. Whatever the number is....I don't think the survival rate will be that great for the North Koreans.
7, Starting 1 November.....changing your gender and first-name is made easy in Germany. Several hundred Germans in Hessen have already sent filled-out paperwork and are prepared for the update.
