I sat and read through a short update this morning via Focus....on the Covid mask business. So, the head guy of RKI (the top institute in Germany for medical business), and they put out this pretty blunt message.
Professor Doctor Lothar Wieler, head of RKI....says that the FFP2 mask is no more effective than plain regular surgical mask....period.
The extra money people are paying for the FFP2 masks? Well....going down the drain. Current cost? Generally, the FFP2 runs around 75-cents to 1.5 Euro, depending on where you buy it, and who the manufacturer is. The surgical mask? Depending on where you buy it, and who makes it....it could be around 45-cents to 1 Euro.
I should note this as well...after one full day of 'use'.....you are supposed to dump the mask. You folks using it for sixty days.....are pushing your luck.
