This afternoon, another amusing part of the Baerbock plagiarism 'scandal' has unfolded. I've talked a good bit over the past two weeks about this book (published 21 June) and the 40-plus plagiarism problems.
So, there's a new problem in the book, by the Green Party Chancellor candidate. There's a piece in the book, which leads back to a CDU Party written piece from 2020.
Yes, Baerbock copied a direct quote from the CDU Party piece.
Focus carried this update, and it's kinda funny.
Will the CDU folks run with this new problem? I'm guessing they will spend the weekend carving this topic up as much as possible.
