It's kinda funny, but the EU officially came out yesterday and said there are various brands of the FFP2-, KN95- and FFP3 Covid-masks....which are NOT effective (they even suggest 35-percent effectiveness for some of these).
The 11 brands? Well....all Chinese-made.
What'll happen now? Unknown.
I would imagine that most of these masks (brands) were around since the summer of 2020, and no one really asked about effective nature....until summer of 2021.
Would a regular German guy....upon spending 50-odd Euro for a box of XYZ FFP-2 masks.....just throw them away? Hell no. They'd keep wearing them until the box was empty.
Grocery and drug stores 'stuck' with the crappy masks now? Well, that's another odd question.
Has the German government mandated anything? No. It's just the EU who said this.
Just another funny part of the Covid mess.
