Just Lucky, I Guess

So this study came out today in the German press.....which concerns the Coronavirus, the world, and what 'could have been'.

The PhD folks crunched the numbers and basically said that thanks to bans and rules....3-million people didn't die.

The problem with this, is that it's mostly a model, and they estimated things in the mix.  It's also a problem in that it's a nice round number (would have been better to say that 2,987,388 people in my humble opinion).

Added to this problem....Germans kinda question this from various angles.  First, this might only be wave number one, with the second wave coming in October....to kill three million at that point.  Second, based on China-talk.....maybe there was an extra million dead folks in the mix.  Finally, you come to the ban chatter, and how a lot of people are losing faith in this.

So, maybe it's worth pulling out the Johnny Walker Black whiskey you've been keeping and have several shots with your wife or neighbor over our fortunate 'luck'.
