This morning, the local news from my German (Hessen) community....285k residents....noted the 20th person had died from the Coronavirus.
The bulk of the 20? I've followed this since March, and the bulk of these (as described the journalists themselves)....will have a couple of words attached....saying 'secondary or previous issues' involved.
What this typically means? Usually they had an operation in the past year....or they are enduring diabetes....or getting over some cancer deal....or getting through lung issues.
The age thing? Well, that's also part of the story....more than half were over the age of 80.
