This week, the public TV 'magazine' Report Mainz (ARD) did a piece to talk over an odd phenomena seen in Germany....Germans who show up at the vaccination centers in a fairly aggressive attitude, with no appointment, and lacking priority-status. Since January, they say the number is now up into the thousands....where confrontation has occurred and someone with authority had to put their foot down.
People giving a false job-skill and fake age? Oh yeah.
Since day one of the vaccination business....there's been a priority deal, and generally laid down by the Bundestag. Getting around the rules has been nearly impossible....which explains why the black market for vaccination exists, and various neighboring countries are offering 'deals' for early vaccinations (like in Russia, and Serbia).
The issue, if you stand back and look at the landscape....almost nightly, the hype is on TV (both public and private), and Germans are given some doom-scenario about the virus and only the vaccination will save you....which you may have to wait up to six months after the program starts up.....to get a shot.
I noticed this week...an Israeli company (Oramed) is working on a vaccine 'pill' (fairly large from the image I saw and the size that you'd give a horse). You pop the pill....wait two weeks, and you are basically immunized. Still in the testing phase, but I would kinda expect this to be approved and produced by late summer. All of this shot-schedule business would rapidly go away, and doctors would just prescribe this out of your local pharmacy.
