Ten Reasons Why Putin Might Be This 'Adventurous'

 1.  Macron.  There's a French national election in roughly two months, and Macron would have a tough time performing his job against the timeline of the invasion.

2.  Johnson.  If you gaze at the political spectrum in the UK....Johnson is pretty near a point to be 'fired'.  Replacement?   Anyone's guess.

3.  Germany and the new Chancellor.  Scholz is known for taking long pauses to make any decision.  He has a marginally-built coalition with Green Party members.   If you gaze around the SPD Party itself....probably half of them are anti-war 'players'.

4.  Biden is in mental decline, and the White House is mostly run by five or six individuals....with marginal leadership capability.

5.  Afghanistan debacle.  Lets be honest....this August 2021 event was a total failure,

6.  If NATO fails to deliver, then a number of nations on the borderline of Russia will be continually fearful of being next to receive Russian guests.

7.  Constant use of economic measures for the past twenty years to motivate Russia to 'act'.....has accomplished little except teach Russia how to get around the economic measures.

8.  The operational capability of Germany to put forty fighters in the air for a requirement.....is questioned.  Maintenance issues and lack of spare parts makes this a joke.  It goes across the spectrum....tank, helicopters, trucks, ships, subs, etc.

9.  Covid.

10.  German purchasing of natural gas from Russia.  Roughly 35-to-37 percent of German natural gas....comes out of Russia.  Trying to halt it?  Where will the missing amount come from?

And in addition to your Number 2 point, Russia invests massively in the British conservative party as a way to launder the money they take out of the country. That was the main driver of Brexit, as they needed to avoid the new tax transparency rules that the EU wanted to implement.

So they've cleverly adjusted their policies to own the major conservative parties across multiple continents. Hell, the conservative party in Australia (ironically named the Liberal party) has a former CCP propagandist working as an elected member within them.

Strange times indeed.

You can go to both left and right parties throughout Europe, and find Russian-connected people (nothing new). If anything, the Oligarchs have increased their control beyond anything that Putin's internal gov't people did.
