Several German news sites are reporting this morning....that in the past few days in Russia....at least five regional 'governors' (out of 85 states) have given notice that they will be retiring shortly.
Lot of speculation building up over this.
How the German perception is going? The suggestion is that economic chaos is coming shortly, and these five don't want the responsibility for what has to occur.
Some facts? There is supposed to be regional elections by September, so these five (I expect more) are giving notice that they won't be running in the election. New blood? Probably so.
Budget cuts coming? No one talks about this, but I would imagine that every state will be given some cut....how they assemble their budget after that....is the unknown.
