It's a page two type story, with maybe three lines at best.
The North Rhine-Westphalia state (the far NW state of Germany, with Koln and Dusseldorf) will have a new policy given to the police shortly by the state Interior Minister (CDU Party member).
The policy is....as crimes are committed and the guy is caught....the nationality of the individual will be identified in the report. This means that the news folks can ask in the future, and find out x-number of crimes occurred, and these either are associated with Germans most of the time, or non-Germans.
Likely to get pro-asylum people upset? Maybe.
But here's the thing. You might start proving that certain nationalities are arrested for drug-crimes, more than other nationalities. Or that mafia-related crimes are committed by certain nationalities. Or that assaults at local train stations are certain nationalities.
I might go out on the limb and predict that Syrians and Iraqis might not show up in the statistical count very much.....while young men from Tunisia and Morocco show up a good bit on drug-crimes.
