Ban-Rules Ceasing?

Between Sunday night's public forum (Anne Will Show) and the various newspaper commentaries....a lot of hype came up over the weekend with the idea of 'gifting' the public because of the vaccination and possible lesser infection numbers.

Politicians seem pretty focused on this idea and suggesting ban-rules will fall shortly (not in May of course).

You'd have to see the seven-day infection rate drop from the 150-range currently....down to the 50-range, before the massive amount of ban-rules would fall.  In this situation, the cafes, pubs, bars and restaurants would all re-open.

This would cease the weekend demonstrations by the anti-ban folks, and reset the whole political 'slam' going on presently.

You really don't want to go forward into the campaign season and have the demonstrations continuing and building up negative hype against the CDU or SPD parties.

The odds here?  If you look at infection rates for 2020....May brought warm weather and the infection rate dropped like a 'rock'.  I expect the same thing to occur over the next four weeks.

Will they allow Christmas-market planning to move ahead?  Ha....I seriously doubt that.  All of this ban-rule business will start back up as soon as the infection rate reaches 100 or more.
