N-TV hyped up a story this afternoon....Putin wants to speak (personally) at the UN Security Council.
What is suggested that he'll talk about? Well....fallen Russian soldiers.
Personally, if I were the advisors to Putin....I'd strongly recommend against this, because it'll come off as one of his general 'lectures', and with a slight threat toward the end. He probably will insist upon the unfreezing of their assets.
Timing? The suggestion is Monday.
Other Russia rumors today?
1. There's some chatter that all men of Russian citizenship are forbidden from leaving the country....order to be given shortly. BS-meter? I'd give it a '6'. If this were to happen, you'd see a sudden increase of Russian guys trying to find some exit out of the country.....where 50,000 in a single week exit.
2. Martial law being declared shortly. BS-meter? I'd give it a '3', where several additional laws are being worked out. To be honest, with things that have been ordered in the past week...I'd say they are already halfway to martial law....as things stand presently. It wouldn't require much more....especially for economic measures and curfews....to reach full martial law.
Now....if men-order not to leave the country were to occur, it'd make me ask the question....are they expecting all-out war to break out and want to pump all Russian men through some mini-boot-camp and hand them rifles for some new 'adventure'.
That's crazy talk, but I would imagine the thrills with the current crowd of conscripts is running short at present.
Maybe it sounds crazy.....but we are pretty close to WW III.
