Rumor of Syrian Troops Aiding Putin in Ukraine?

 BS-factor?  '10'.

So, lets go to the rumor itself....that roughly 16,000 Syrian troops have been brought into the conflict....to help Putin's crappy campaign.

First, if you were going to measure morale within the Syrian military presently....the majority are drafted individuals, and ever since the ISIS-war business....these guys have been marginally happy about military-time they are pulling.

Second, there's a big difference in weather/climate between Syria and Ukraine.  A lot of these Syrian guys have never been in harsh weather conditions.

Finally, I come to the idea of transporting 16,000 from Syria to some controlled airport in SE Ukraine.  Flying over at least two countries which would hinder your plan?  How about five to eight vessels....picking up troops and 'floating' them to the Black Sea?  Also not a likely story.

So I regard the whole story as bogus.  There might be a hundred-odd special operations folks from Syria who agreed to some contract deal....beyond that....the story is 99-percent fake news.
