Germans Stuck on Vacation

In the past couple of days, a public media discussion has started up....over Germans who'd started a vacation in remote locations, and now.....are stuck because of the virus.

Numbers?  No one is really sure, but it appears to be over 20,000 in number.  A lot of airlines have simply stopped their flights, and the German 'State Department' (Foreign Ministry) is now trying to resolve this.  Cost?  The number thrown around is 50-million Euro.

What Lufthansa says is that they are ready to provide the service, if the money exists.

The suggestion of a 14-day quarantine being necessary?  Well....it's a part of this suggestion that they need to force these people through some type of quarantine.....maybe at one central location....maybe several locations....maybe at home.

From across the globe?  Yes....from Turkey to Thailand.
