At some point in 2025....German authorities expect to cross the 50-percent point in terms of the nation being connected to fiber-optic high-speed internet.
The rest of the country? There is a goal to say by 2030....the rest will be connected. If you asked how sure they are? It'd be one of those 50-50 answers.
Companies working through this across the nation? It's roughly 230 companies (across the nation) working on the cable issue.
Metropolitan locations ahead of the rest? Of course. My village (edge of Wiesbaden) had fiber installed back around 20 years ago. If you ventured 20 miles north of the village....into the boonies....that's the group hoping to be hooked up by 2025. If you ventured 20 miles north of that boonie location....into the ultimate boonie-of-boonies landscape, that's the group hoping to be hooked up by 2030.
This factor hurting streaming video? Yeah, there's no doubt that all of the streaming services are disturbed by the limits.
