It's kinda funny, but fairly serious as well.
So months ago (going back into 2019)....various members of a German Army elite team (over a thousand members) were identified as being right-wing extremists. This got the Bundestag all hyped-up. So an investigation started up.
This week, via Focus....another element of the story got laid out.
This group of elite military folks...KSK is the unit identifier....had to go individually and face a group of German Army intelligence members (MAD).
A thousand members of KSK have been interrogated. The vast majority aren't happy about the treatment. They gotten to the level of accusing the MAD folks of being STASI-like (East Germany's secret police).
Some members have used the term 'torture' to describe their treatment.
All of this is leading to lawyers being used, and it appears that consequences will occur via the legal system....with MAD accused of potential inhumane treatment.
Whatever element existed in the beginning to use good judgement? Probably gone at this point.
