YouGov did a survey on the September election business here in Germany. Focus wrote a short update over this and implications.
The jest of the polling? Out of CDU voters for 2017....around 15-percent have said that having Laschet as the candidate....won't work for them, and they will look elsewhere for a candidate.
A big deal? It's probably enough to worry the party, but at this stage....it's too late to dump Laschet. So I suspect the campaign is mostly about showing Laschet is a graceful loser and just hoping the Green Party doesn't beat them by more than two or three points.
As for getting the fifteen-percent to say who'd they would vote for? Not apparently in the poll (would have been interesting to know the trend).
