Yesterday morning, across Germany....more than 1,500 police were involved in various raids that involved the drug trade.
Minimum of sixty folks arrested just in the Hessen area alone. Regional public TV (HR) covered this in detail. More than fifty structures searched in the Frankfurt, Wiesbaden and Kassel area.
Six-thousand marijuana plants were in the seized deal....with various other substances (meth, cocaine, etc).
Cops say they'd been watching the 'gang' for eighteen months, and almost 27-million 'messages' were in the mix. Convictibililty? I doubt if any of the folks get off the hook, unless they cooperate and point out others in the trade.
Affecting drug trade in the region? I would take a guess that some competitors will see the open door and try to move in.
