Observations

 1.  Covid rate dropping?  Like a rock.  This morning, they announced the national rate at 20.8 (seven-day infection rate out of 100k).

2.  Control of water?  Well....there's chatter going on that the Environmental Ministry would like to have a national water management program/strategy going on by 2030.

A national problem?  No.  There are certain regions of Germany which have seen urbanization occur since the war, and haven't done much in terms of a long-term strategy.

What'll come out of this?  As silly as it sounds....water prices across the nation by 2030 will probably end up with a tax, with some regions forced into building massive reservoirs, and some chatty water 'czar' will appear nightly to worry you about your region's water supply.

3.  Mask scandal now getting to level of a special investigator/commission?  Well, it's to be discussed today in the Bundestag.  In the end, it might look unpleasant for the Health Minister, but it's going to probably make the whole Bundestag (all parties) look like 5th grade kids trying to run a legit government.
