Well....this is what the police said about this attack that occurred yesterday in Mainz....at 3 PM.
A 32-year Somali guy went berserk, knifing around three individuals....one pretty serious (48 years old)....the other two, less so.
Location? It was about a block east of the train station.
Cause of the attack? So far, unknown.
What ended it? It appears that a policeman was somewhere within eyesight of the attack, and rushed up with his pistol drawn....gave the warning, and 'disabled' the Somali (he's in the hospital as well, from this wound).
If you view social media, there is some chatter over a broken relationship situation.....suggesting some gal dumped the Somali for another man. BS-factor? I'd give it a '5' at least.....police have not suggested this idea. I do agree, it did occur in front of a driver's school, but it may not have any relationship to the behavior of the Somali guy. Trying to bring up Muslim radicalism? No.....if anything....the guy perceived something in a false manner....couldn't handle reality, and just went 'nuts'.
