The Problem With The Four Amphibious Vessels On The Move

Around four days ago....four Russian Navy amphibious vessels left the region around Japan and sailed SW....to what the Japanese suggested...would be a route toward India....the Red Sea and probably toward the Med.

At the time....I felt like they'd make way to the Black Sea and be part of some landing force near Odessa.

Then someone brought it up to me....Turkey still has the ban on military vessels passing through the Bosphorous Straits....to the Black Sea.

So you start to ponder over this.

If they attempt to pass the Straits....will Turkey truly deny them?  If confronted....will NATO step in and block them?

Or is this simply a test of Turkey and NATO?

Or is the route to get the vessel to Kaliningrad's port on the Baltic?

If you do the timetable....there's probably another nine days of sailing at this point....to reach the entry of the Straits....if that was the intention.
