The basic story....talked over by the Ukrainian government. They 'say' that they have communications that several 'elite' individuals in Russia are now putting a plan together to remain Putin. BS-factor? 10-plus.....maybe.
But here's the thing....the KGB will hear this and just mention it to Putin, and he'll launch into a 10-minute tirade....then order a review of all 'elite' figures (probably the Oligarch community) around him....assigning them 'scores'.
The odds that twenty of them end up arrested in a week? I'd give it better than 50-percent chance.
So, this could just hype the Oligarch folks to act on a fake story, and take out Putin anyway....seeing themselves now in danger.
