Five German News Stories

 1.  That knife attack in France yesterday, with the Syrian guy....it leads to this odd factor that the refugee (Syrian) held migration status in Sweden (not France).  Just an odd factor to the story.

2.  The EU is writing up more stringent rules on migration....which apparently have hyped-up members of the German Green Party (they weren't anticipating this would happen).

3.  The Last Generation activists went into a Sylt (the island) high-class bar, and spray-painted the place.  Four of the six were arrested by the police....charges to occur.  On damages?  I would guess clean-up to be in the 5,000 to 10,000 Euro range, and the bar will be closed at least a couple of days...so there's missed profits from that.

4.  It was an odd Markus Lanz talk-show forum last night (ZDF).  Lanz had the head of the SPD Party, an economist, a management consultant, and a journalist.  Key topic?  Well....key work attitude of Generation Z Germans.

Most people born prior to this generation (especially Germans).....defined themselves by their work/accomplishments.  Generation Z?  They want certain conditions to exist....to fill fulfilled, and this may have nothing to do with the product or service of the company.

5.  A lot of rain fell over Hessen yesterday.....not a drop in my village.....drought continues.
