Trend

Channel One (ARD) did a poll, and apparently four out of five Germans....feel that the government (SPD-Green-FDP run) is not functioning correctly.

Same polling says that two out of three Germans think the heat-pump agenda (mandate) will put them at financial risk.

If you had an election presently....adding up the SPD, Green and FDP results....it'd come to roughly 40-percent of the country voting for any of the three.

How far off is the national election?  Fall of 2025.

Affecting state elections?  Well....for the remainder of 2023 and all of 2024?  A total of five (plus the EU election in the spring of 2024).  Yes, it is conceivable that this present view of the coalition is going to hurt those state elections.

All about the heat-pump discussion?  NO.  I would suggest more than a dozen topics revolving around the general public at present.

Examples?  The property tax fiasco, higher cost for healthcare insurance, migration, Ukraine-Russia war, energy costs, pension reform (age topic keeps coming up), TV-media tax, climate/Last Generation activists, crime, etc.

The trend is mostly leading to frustration....where politics is discussed daily by people now.
