Last night, for the Anne Will forum show (ARD, 9:45 PM), the topic was immigration and asylum.
This past week, the EU released the new standard....basically....all procedures have to speed up (either approval or disapproval), and there's a set of rules handed down. For the gov't of Germany, about the only people with significant negativity over the EU standards....appears to be the Green Party.
If you added up all the Sunday night forum shows since 2014 (figure about 40 per year) on this topic....I would take a guess that there's been at least one-hundred forums on it.
Where the topic ranks presently with Germans? Inflation, the heat-pump, and property taxes rank ahead of migrants at this point.
