1. Who blew up the Kakhovka Dam in the Ukraine?
Unknown....massive flood damage down stream. Some folks seem to think a floating mine hit the concrete.
2. Lot of push by the SPD and Greens to get this heat-pump legislation passed before the summer vacation. FDP? Not that enthusiastic about the way the bill is drafted. I'd give it less than a 50-percent chance of passing before the vacation period.
3. "Gender is perceived as jargon of the elite." This is the chief comment signed by 700-odd German language experts....sending the comment to the public TV bosses.
I'll just say this....a fair number of Germans aren't that happy with public TV, and in the period where the TV-media tax is discussed going up....you probably shouldn't go and make public TV positions into a negative situation.
