By last night (Monday)....the nation had been walking through the first two days of the Covid-19 vaccination business. What is generally said now over the reservations you have to make and how the system works....it's fairly screwed up.
N-TV this morning did a good layout of the situation.
You can go online or use the 116117 number to call and get your hour/day reservation at your regional facility.
But what folks are finding....the system (run by individual states) just isn't prepared for this type of situation.
No one has said much over testing of the reservation system, and my humble guess is that the App-writers probably weren't expecting 10k people hitting the system at the same time....in each state.
Even if you got through....there's only x-amount of the vaccine, so you could be applying for a appointment four to six weeks away because of your category or age group. Me? I'm on the long-way-away list....probably June/July timeframe.
Resolving this? Maybe as you get the first five million folks done....the system lightens up a bit.
