Robbery Story

So we had this weird crime episode in Wiesbaden this morning....around 6:20 AM.

Bakery open....guy walks in....demands cash from the register.  Lady offers him some bread instead.  Guy refuses....needs cash (probably a doper in need of his morning 'fix').  He's showing a sharp object (never identified).

He goes to the cash register and trying to open.  Door opens.....German guy (61) enters and realizes the business going on.  He makes a straight-line toward the guy.  Tussle starts up.

By the end...61 year old German guy is injured badly (broke leg), and the cops arrive to haul the 34-year-old guy off to jail.  Charges likely to occur.

This is the atmosphere you now run into.....common robberies like this used to be awful rare.  Drug-trade is pumping up the atmosphere for these type of situations.

The Germany of my youth is forever gone. I hate to say it but Germany has now become a 3rd world muslim chithole and its never going back to the way it was.

I would suggest that since the Wall came down...drug trafficking has picked up and become a major problem. Robberies now go hand-in-hand with people looking for their morning 'fix'.
