Four German News Stories

 1.  If you watched the ARD public forum show last night (Sunday evening, 21:45, Anne Will Show)....it was one extremely long lecture about your willingness to give up driving cars to work.

It was pointed out by the anti-willingness people....that the bus/train system is pretty much maxed-out, and unless you were investing a ton of money for more infrastructure.....people just aren't going to be attracted to giving up their personal cars.

I hate using the word 'lecture', but it really came across that way with the guests involved in the 'chat'.

2.  The Interior Ministry is going to hold some type of refugee 'summit', where towns/communities with issues....can voice them in some appropriate manner.

I wouldn't go expecting much out of this, except it gives her more face time with the various TV networks.

Until there is a number assigned, general restrictions established, and deportation rules written.....the system continues 'as-is'.

3.  I noticed some health report off N-TV....that too much liquorish is bad for you.

4.  Supposed to be walk-out strikes for the German postal folks....Monday and Tuesday.
