Three Things You Kinda Notice In Germany

 1.  In the past month, it seems like almost every political party has people out and admitting that Covid rule, mandates and regulations for 2020, 2021 and 2022....were in some cases....failing to accomplish anything, or admitting big screw-ups were accomplished.

Public TV (ARD/ZDF)?  It's giving them plenty of air-time to confess this....which is odd.

Public TV itself admitting to the agenda push in the 3-year period?  No.

Will it make any difference?  I think historians (say after 2030), will be blunt and negative about what was exercised by government mandates.

2.  The ZDF (public TV, Channel 2) folks reported yesterday afternoon...that the big management building over in Mainz (south part of the city) was shut-down....fire-sprinker system clicked on....on the very top floor.  Water damage throughout the entire building (down to the 5th floor).  Damage amount?  Figured to be several million Euro.

So, here's the odd thing from the Mainz police.....they say it was sabotage.  They aren't blaming any group (could be the mafia folks, the Russians, the Oligarch folks, etc).

Based on reports.....about a thousand employees affected by this, and were sent to home-office mode yesterday.

Fixing this?  If you consider the general pace of getting on work-schedules for craftsman?  I'd be guessing this building will be shutdown for six months.

Begs the question.....if it was sabotage....who went to this amount of trouble?

3.  Depeche Mode (been around since 1980)....putting out a new single.
