Covid-19 Chatter

The Hessen state committee on ban-rules for the Covid-19 virus held their meeting this morning.  So you can take a couple of things out of the HR TV news statements:

1.  The regional/city Christmas markets are given the 'green-light' to go ahead, but with rules.....what you buy to drink/eat....has to be in coordinated areas.  That means tables/chair, with social distancing.  So if you felt the old areas (like Frankfurt or Wiesbaden) were crowded....just wait, it gets worse.

No one explained the gluhwein operating procedure.  I'm guessing you can buy the cup, and just walk around with it until you finish it.

2.  Salt and pepper shakers can again be returned to regular tables in pubs/restaurants.

3.  If you ride a public bus/train.....there is no warning given if you sit without a mask.  The audit-guy or policeman can immediately issue a 50 Euro fine on the spot.

4.  Up to 250 people.....you can have an 'event'.  More than 250 people?  You have to approach the health committee of each town and explain your sanitation plan.

5.  Hanging out in a casino?  The mouth-cover requirement is gone.
