N-TV did a short update today as a lead-off story.....the new infection rate is now at the level (daily) that we had in Germany back in May. 1,200-odd cases in a 24-hour period.
Where the bulk of the new cases are being seen? NW Germany, in the state of NRW.
Changing the ban-rules again? Not yet.
Part of this might relate to the conspiracy folks who say that a scripted new extreme ban-rule period is written out for late August....and the national Health Minister (Spahn) might want to demonstrate that this is simply not true.
The odds of more ban-rules coming around? If the trend continues....various states will start their own ban-rule situation, and this will be a highly frustrating period for Germans to re-accept.
