1. I noticed that the national German police leadership is making a comment that if they are saddled up with border-control as a permanent job.....they want 10,000 new additional slots. Where the funding would come from? Unknown. The border-control being a permanent fixture? I don't think that was the original intent.
2. These talks between the CDU-CSU, and SPD....for a coalition....will include a package on asylum, and it's generally believed to be a rigid program than the past four years.
3. The Bahn folks (railway system) paid out in 2024....around 197-million Euro for delayed trips. If you arrive at your destination 60 minutes or more past the original 'promise'.....Bahn has to pay you 25-percent of the ticket cost. Paperwork drill? Yeah, but it's fairly simplified.....if you kept your paperwork and noted the train issues.
4. Romanian Constitutional Court announced it rejected motions to void the registration of Calin Georgescu (he's in the running as a candidate in the May 4 presidential election). If you remember....he kinda 'won' the last election and because of perceived Russian leanings....they cancelled the results of the election.
I kinda expect another attempt to halt his name on the ballot.
