Well.....there is a list of 99 pages.....EU draft of what they want to tariff next. (here if you want to read it, in English).
Women's evening wear? Yeah.
Nicotine patches? Yeah.
Wood doors? Yeah.
I looked at the list....includes Catholic waffers, chewing gum, and motor scooters. To be honest.....I don't see much that I'd ever buy.....on the German economy.
Adding to this?
My wife....German in nature....goes to the extreme on knowing what the product is.....that she buys. She'll tell you it's from northern Italy, or Crete, and if it has bad chemicals mixed in.
Buying some US product? I just can't think of any that she would procure.
US-made handbags? Trust me....nothing like that is made in the US anymore....it's all Chinese. But that's on the list too.
US-leather-made gloves? NO....the stuff on the market is entirely Chinese crap.
This is getting comical in various ways....but if this develops further...I could see the Chinese getting pushed a bit, and then traiffs will get really weird.
