I sat today and read through a 20-line piece by Focus, on Germany, the vaccination program and Covid-19.
Based on the numbers, and you really have to wonder how accurate they are.....the German state governments are sitting on approximately 4-million doses of vaccine.
Chief reason? Well....some of this goes to the reservation program and what they refer to as 'bottlenecks'.
The other side of this story? A lot of pressure is now on....to hand the vaccine over to private doctors/clinics....instead of the large capacity inoculation centers.
The odds this will draw criticism over the vaccine just laying around? More than likely, but if you consider all the other screw-ups of the past year.....well....it's just one more example of poor planning.
