A Brief Discussion Over Sweden

Over the past year, I've had this fascination with Sweden....mostly over the current state of affairs, the migration woes, the political bickering going on, and Swedish economics.

Along the way, I read through four books: (1) Sweden, Dying to be Multicultural (Taylor), (2) Viking Economics (Lakey), (3) Urban Rage (Dikec), and (4) Modern Day Vikings (Robinowitz) (I should note....that #4 is almost twenty years in print and lays out a different Sweden than today).

Number of hours watching Youtube videos, lectures, and personal commentaries in this same period?  Probably up around sixty man-hours.

Sweden to me is an interesting story over politics, control of the topic, public control of outrage, migration and it's woes, and then finally....the media.

For the record, Sweden has around 10.3-million total in population.  Back in 1980, it was at 8.3-million.  The birth-rate?  1.8 per woman.  For five years around the late 90s....it was actually at 1.5 per woman.  If you look at historical data going back to 2008, the Swedes kinda admitted that non-Swedish women were having .5-percent higher birth-rates....compared against Swedish women.  If you took that 'twist'....it means the the current Swedish-only rate might be closer to 1.6-percent now.

Back in 2017 (now two years), it was figured that around one-quarter of the population of the country is now non-Swede.  That was in the 2.4-million range at that point, and it's likely gone to 2.7-million by now.

So everyone (literally everyone in the country) talks about the impact and the current path of migration.  If you attended university, the odds are heavily in the favor that you are pro-migrant.  If you have a skill-craft status or welfare status, you are favored to be anti-migrant.  Every year, the intellectual crowd probably loses another 100,000 (my gut-feeling of the situation) of pro-immigration Swedes....mostly because of crime, the anxiety over the 'hype', and non-action by the government.

Politics?  The main party?  The Swedish Social Democrats, with 28-percent in the 2018 election.  They are heavily leaning to the left, and pro-migrant.  The 3rd party existing, which is anti-migrant?  Swedish Democrats, at 18-percent in that election.  The Swedish Democrats are on a trend-line, very similar in respects to the German AfD Party, and based on a significant position against migration.

The next election in 2022?  Unless something occurs with crime and public perception, the Swedish Social Democrats can carve off another three-to-four points, and marginally win.

So the question ought to come up....why can't cops really get ahead of the system and demonstrate to the public some authority and respect?  To do that, you'd need the prosecution folks and judges to do their job.  So far, that hasn't happened.  Adding to the mess, police are retiring or leaving early....giving the hiring authority a problem in recruitment and retaining trained personnel.

Similar problem with teachers?  Well, that's noted a number of times in the book 'Dying to be Multicultural'.  Male teachers get no respect....so they leave to find less stress.  The revolving door is mostly bringing in more female teachers, who quickly discover that they get zero respect from the migrant kids/teens.

Respect from the news media?  There's generally one single way of viewing things, and the public grows weary over the biased nature of news....leaving it, and going to social media to share happenings and crime stories.

So I'm going out on the limb here and making ten predictions over the next decade:

1.  Sweden will go the German route, and tell everyone of some massive hiring trend (maybe bringing on 3,000 new cops within three years).  The hiring authority will discover that they can only reach the goal by lessening the intelligence tests, emotional quality required for the job, and taking physically unfit recruits.

2.  Around places like Malmo, the Swedish working-class will eventually get fed up....look to migrate themselves out of Sweden....into Finland, Norway, Denmark, or Germany.

3.  Malmo's 'elite' will wake up at the next election....shocked that a migrant-party has appeared out of thin air and has 30-percent of the city vote.

4.  Swedish teachers will reach a level of frustration by 2025....taking their talent and skills to countries like Germany and Denmark. A national shortage of teachers will be announced by 2025, and reach a point where some urbanized schools operate with 40 kids in a room.

5.  At some point between 2020 and 2025, a race-war of sorts will start up in urbanized areas of southern Sweden between the Somali crime groups and the Afghans.  Nightly shootings will become common.  Both groups will demand police and ambulance 'action'.....which the response will be fine, but only after the sun rises in the morning.  The civil war no-go areas will be in constant frustration why no one protects them any longer.

6.  Nearing 2030, Sweden will have seen almost 1-million of it's citizens (mostly of the southern part of the country and skillcraft people) pack up and leave.  It'll reach a point where companies can't find qualified individuals to do the work, or speak the language.  This will trigger an industry exit, and downward spiral on taxable income.

7.  Retiring Swedes with 'real' pensions and money will begin a new exit out of the country....moving to Norway and Denmark.

8.  The EU will get a call around 2030 that bank loans to get by for the Swedish government....aren't resolving the taxable income issue in Sweden, with one in seven Swedes considered marginally capable of speaking the language, or lacking the school background to take on additional education, so a fair amount of money is going to job-less non-Swedes.  The EU task to provide a 'loan'?  After a brief discussion, they will say 'no' and task the Swedes to resolve their own mess.

9.  By 2025, some non-Swede will come up with a Nazi-looking uniform, without the Swastika.....forming a political party, and Swedes (especially liberal far-left types) will focus on this and try to suggest it's Nazi-like, and be told by judges that they won't touch the topic with this guy (hinting that without the Swastika, it's not Nazi).  Public sentiment will be frustrated on how Swedes would be unable to get away with this, but non-Swedes are seen entirely different.

10.  Finally, some shock survey will come out by 2030 to suggest that one in three Swede 16-year olds....are marginally educated to the 3rd-grade level.  Then it'll be revealed that over 100,000 non-Swede students will have graduated out of the system over the previous 20 years with the acknowledgement of them being only at the 3rd-grade level.

Now, while predicting all of this....one has to stand back and just admit it in a blunt way.....it's the one country that survived for centuries without a lot of invasions or foreign arrivals.  Up until the past forty years.....they'd been mostly an exit-country, not an entry-country.
