Halle Attack

There's a shooting episode unfolding in Germany....in Halle (120 miles NE of Frankfurt).

Location in town?  It's near a Jewish synagogue and Turkish grill stand.

Presently, the German cops are saying two dead.  One was a customer at the grill stand (assumed to be an innocent bystander).

The gunman?  Witnesses so far say the guy wore some type of combat suit, and had a military-style rifle.  The guy has been captured and there's an investigation going on.

Oddly enough, around 20 minutes away....another shooting was unfolding (no one wounded or killed in that episode).  Connected?  No one says that.

So was this against the grill folks, or the Jewish synagogue?  Presently, this attacker started on the grill....throwing some type of grenade or tear-gas container in, and then firing several shots.  There's a second story going around about this being multiple shooters, and that a second part of the attack was on the Jewish synagogue.

I would suggest waiting another six hours before getting to a final version of the story.

Might this all be some mafia-family making a hit on another mafia-family?  Well, it wouldn't shock me if the the final result was this.

Update: you can go over to Youtube and bring up the 20-second video of the gunman (one guy) on the street.  Either the guy is on drugs, or a just plain-nutcase.  He is firing a round or two off from the rear of a van on the street.  Doesn't seem too worried.  Almost like a scripted event.
