Odd Aspect of Halle 'Attack'

These weapons used in the Halle 'attack'?  Well, after a fair amount of reading through all the news reports...it now stands out that the weapons were not a legal or traded weapon.  They (single-fire pistol, two machine-guns, and two shotguns) were constructed by the attacker himself.  This would explain a great deal of the jamming issues this guy had.

Yes, with objects that you'd buy on the market, he made the weapons from 50 Euro spent on steel, a telescope for 20 Euro, and the rest from his 3D printer.  So he didn't go to Darknet or have a gun license in the background.  The ammo?  All self-made as well.

What's this lead to now?  I think the German police and political folks are sitting and contemplating this.....realizing that all their gun-control efforts really don't matter, if a guy can construct his own weapons.

You can't even construct an argument about taking guns away from Right-wing extremists or going extreme on Darknet with thousands of counter-terror cops....because the attackers would just go and build new weapons in their garage or basement.
