EU Money Story

I sat and watched a short news piece this morning off N-24 (commercial German news), and the topic was the EU and their distribution of 750-billion Euro of road/bridge money for the upcoming year (to be dealt out in July of this year).

So the committee managing this distribution....has kinda hinted that whatever listing existed six months ago for the distribution plan....has been rebuilt.

In simple terms....a number of the more wealthy or well-to-do countries will not get that much out of the 750-billion Euro.  The lesser countries?  They will get a bigger chunk.

The EU has a set goal of trying to get all member states up to a certain level of expectations...so if you crossed the border of Italy into Crotia....it shouldn't be obvious of a lesser road structure.

What this does?  Well....if you were Germany or France, and felt that this 750-billion Euro distribution would help you....you guessed wrong, and some new tax deal would have to come....if you wanted to cover various projects on your 'to-do' list.
