1. Lot of hype in Frankfurt over the Dolphins/Chiefs NFL game. Major commercial success. If they could have a stadium with 120,000 seats....it would have still be sold out.
2. N-24 news item: German natural gas supply is at 100-percent capacity at present (enough for 3 months).
3. WELT item: Criminal gang activity in Germany escalating....more violent than in previous eras.
4. Frankfurt, two attempted murders over the weekend, separate events. One near a subway area.
5. What is said about the Hamburg Airport episode with the Turk who tried to have authorities take him and his daughter to Turkey....marriage issues, and he was attempting to remove his daughter (age 4) from Germany without the permission of the wife.
What'll happen now? I'm guessing a mental evaluation will be required from the court (figure 30 days) and they will establish if he is mentally competent. After that, if competent, charges will progress. I would imagine there's potentially a dozen charges....some worth ten years in prison.
