The wife and I ate out last night....local decent Italian restaurant in the next German village.
We each had a salad, a basket of bread, a large bottle of premium-water, and the wife had a glass of wine. These were the good salads (either with chicken or ham/cheese).
End cost? With tip....41 Euro. Yeah, it is a hefty amount and for this type of low-cal dinner....before Covid....it would have been closer to 28 Euro.
It is a sign of the times....where even something simple....has a cost factor.
