In my humble view, probably one-third of society identifies themselves as intellectual or overly intelligent. Another third think they might be this way, but fairly limited on intelligence (trying to avoid saying they are stupid). Another third simply are in some forward motion....not really gauging intelligence or stupidity.
So a majority are standing around and trying to be quiet/silent....so that the stupid people don't grasp that they are that stupid.
How long can the act continue? That's really the key question.
Once the stupid people realize their burden....then what? Some might be furious at the accusation and reality. Some might double-up and tell you to really shut-up and avoid any talk at all. A few might just sit there and ask the question....how did they get this stupid (it wasn't overnight)?
