Yep, pretty much a shocker.
ARD, Channel One, public TV here in Germany).....announced in the last hour that the Catalan separatist leader Carles Puigdemont is given a release (with conditions attached). The Schleswig-Holstein state court suspended the execution of the extradition order.
The suggestion is that he can't leave the state, but this is very unclear. It'll trigger some Spanish government comments over the action of Germany....but the German federal system had no control over this.....it was a Schleswig-Holstein state issue.
No one expected them to go this direction.
